This beautiful Egyptian girl doll has long, bendable hands & feet, ball-jointed knees and her hair is formed from black cord sewn on in rows. Her costume is very simply made from a small piece of scrim and you can add braid or a beaded collar to your taste. Wrist & ankle bands complete the look. Select a light tan fabric for her skin which I suggest you line with iron-on stiffening, which gives the doll a smooth silky look and feel. Imagine how she will look perched on her bookshelf or beside a potted palm. The pattern includes a wearable brooch pin in the form of a cat mummy that will make you smile. She teams well with my Nile Prince pattern which makes 4 dolls.
