The Blue Boy is my interpretation of the famous painting by Thomas Gainsborough. He stands 44cm.(17”) tall. The head is shaped and the face flat. Little ears are hand sewn in place. His fingers are not separate & are easy to sew. He has quilted toes. There’s a bottom gusset so he can sit and posed on your mantle alongside a perfect piece of stitchery or watercolour you have collected. His appealing face is coloured using just 2 shades of pencil plus a little brown gel pen, except for the eyes which are 2 colours of pencil plus pen. There’s a step-by-step face drawing page and plenty of instructions to help you.
